Central location, clean, quiet, good value

I recently stayed at this charming lodge in Katoomba for a few nights. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the 70's-style decor added a cozy touch to my stay. The location was perfect, with the train station, shops, supermarkets, and cafes all within walking distance. I loved having access to the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave, hot plates, fridge, and boiling water. The common room with a fireplace was a highlight - a perfect spot to unwind with a book and a warm cup of tea.

I highly recommend this hotel.

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at in many years of travelling all over the world. It has a wonderful oldworld atmosphere, I hope it stays that way, I hope to be back soon!

It was central to all attractions in Katoomba. It was only one street away from the main street.

The best aspects of my stay were the convenient location and the comfortable bed. The hotel was situated in a prime spot, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access nearby attractions. The bed was cozy and provided a good night's sleep after a day of adventure. I appreciated the complimentary WiFi, which was fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected during my trip.

The worst aspects of my stay were the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and the noise from thin walls and creaky floors. The bathrooms were not properly cleaned, with hair, dirt, and old soap caked on the tub.

Great price, cozy fireplace common room, good internet speed, close to shops and restaurants, easy check in/out. Very clean room and facilities. Free parking with good capacity. Helpful staff providing travel recommendations. Cute, clean, and comfortable lodge with character. Good value for money. Easy check in/check out process. Fine facilities, including games room and kitchen with tea/coffee supplied. Effective heater and extra blankets for the season. Better value than a hostel.

The location of the Lodge is great, only an half an hour on foot from the Three Sisters and numerous walking trails. The guest I've met were also very nice, lots of strories and helping each other out. The building itself is very classic, old colonial style, and in the center of town.

The place in general is, well, declining fast... You can see it was somebody's dream a long time ago, but the present owners put not much effort in upholding that dream. The place is falling apart, and the prices are a bit steep for the service and comfort given. If you don't mind worn out carpets and a beaten up kitchen, this is the place for you.

Internet is only free for 30 minutes a day, so it not exactly free of charge... Bed was terrible, matras should have been changed a long time ago. Room, kitchen, showers and toilets were all filthy.

Spacious common rooms with kitchen, dining area, terrace, and chill-out room. Friendly and professional staff. Convenient for hiking in the Blue Mountains. a great experience.
